The artwork Reefs on the Edge is an exhibition designed by Caitilin de Bérigny and exhibited at the ZKM Centre for Art and Media in Germany, Trinity College in Dublin, and the Macleay Museum in Sydney.
The artwork was built by artists and designers: Phillip Gough and Adityo Pratomo, who designed and built the TUI objects and table; Ge Wu, who edited the multiple-channel video installation; and Michael Bates, who created the soundscape.
Reefs on the Edge is a trans-media artwork that explores how coral reef habitats and ecosystems are threatened by the effects of climate change. The artwork Reefs on the Edge was designed, led by Caitilin de Bérigny and was a collaboration with Dr Erica Woolsey, a marine Biology who studied the long term effects of raises in sea temperature on coral embryos.
